We had a wonderful time in Tibet. We have learned a lot about this unique destination because of the wonderful guide Degyi who is so knowledge and always available towards our tours. We stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel Lhasa, and we would never imagine a Tibet travel could be so nice and amazing without the help of Degyi.
Also, thanks a lot to our Tibetan driver Mr.Wongdun for his safe driving and a good sense of service along the way.
We shall return Tibet in the near future!

Day01 Arrival Guilin  Today you arrive in Guilin, China's most scenic city. Greeted and received by your local guide and escorted to your hotel in town. The rest of day is at your own disposal. | ||

Day02 Longsheng Tour (B, L)  Today you will take a day tour outside Guilin to Longsheng to visit its famous Dragon Backbone Terraced Paddy Fields (Longji Rice Terraces). It is a leisure 2hrs drive from Guilin and upon arrival Longsheng you will walk in fields and visit the villages of the "Zhuang or Yao people". Longji Rice Terraces is of imposing beauty which is reputed as "unrivalled in the world". It was first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty as the crystallization of the wisdom and diligence of the Zhuang people. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an altitude of 885m and the lowest 380m, covering an area of 66 square kilometers. The coiling line spirals up from the mountain foot to the top, making the mountain looks like huge snail seen from afar. Overnight at Dragon Backbone Terrace. | ||

Day03 Longsheng - Sanjiang (B, L)
Leave in the morning for Sanjiang. You will visit the Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge in Sanjiang, the largest and the best Wind & Rain Bridge, also known as Yongji Bridge or Panlong Bridge, was built in 1916. It is 64.4 meters long, 10.6 meters wide and 10.6 meters high. Completely made of wood and stone, it is one of the most magnificent wooden architectural structures. You will be amazed that the bridge was constructed using not a single nail or rivet! Pieces of wood are closely jointed to each other. Though decades old, it is still very sturdy and in use. The bridge is inlayed with railings on both sides, and on the bridge there are 5 tower-shaped kiosks with many horns. Many huge wooden mill wheels dotted on the hillsides beside the village, you can see or even hear the water running slowly to turn around the wheels. In addition you will also spend some time at Mapang Village to visit the Drum Tower. It is a symbol of Dong village, there is a drum tower where is a village, only the building style and height are different. Mapang Drum Tower is one of the most famous drum towers in China, built in Ming Dynasty, hit by village fire for several times, the existing drum tower was rebuilt in 1943. the drum tower is pagoda style, 15 meters high, 11 meters wide, nine floor eaves in total, each floor has eaves, which are drawn various patterns such as flowers, grass, fish, birds and character, the top part of the tower is covered with green tiles.
Day04 Sanjiang - Zhaoxing (B, L)
Drive to Zhaoxing, the largest Dong Village compound in China, transfer to visit Tangan Dong Village. Tangan Dong Village is hailed by some as the "most primitive Dong village in China". Tang'an Dong village offers a harmonious scene balancing nature and humanity. The village was built on a steep mountain slope overlooking terraced paddy fields.
Day05 Zhaoxing - Rongjiang - Congjiang (B, L)
This day drive to Basha Miao Village in Rongjiang, in the afternoon transfer to visit Gaozeng Dong Village near Conjiang. Basha Miao Village, located 8km to the south of Rongjiang Town, is home to 2,000 Miaos. The people there rarely venture out of the village except for selling firewood and shopping for daily necessities in markets, and both men and women can be seen in traditional costumes, wearing their hair long. Gaozeng Dong Minority village in Congjiang is six hundred years old. Few tourists visit here. It is famous for its Drum towers, built in the Qing Dynasty. The scenery is particularly beautiful.
Day06 Congjiang - Guilin (B, L)
You will leave in the morning and transferred back your hotel in Guilin. Drive along villages and rustic landscapes. Enjoy some free leisure time in this afternoon upon arrival Guilin.
Day07 Guilin - Yangshuo (B, L)
Guilin is perhaps China's most scenic city. It is no doubt that the best way to enjoy its picturesque scenery is from a floating deck of a luxury cruise on the Li River. Your guide and driver will transfer you from your hotel to Zhujiang Pier to board your wonderful river cruise tour to Yangshuo. Li River, also known as Guishui River or Gui River, takes its source at Mao'er Mountain in Xing'an County, which lies to northeast Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Li River makes its way through Guilin and Yangshuo and merges into Xijiang River in Wuzhou. The mountains on the banks over 40 kilometers long between Guilin and Yangshuo display their extraordinary beauty as a result of the development of the limestone. More than 40,000 hills lie along the two sides of the river, covering a total length of more than 150 kilometers. With their astonishing resemblance to bamboo shoot, screen, elephant and camel, these mountains, together with green banyans and green bamboo as well as the cottages and fishing boats, contribute to form a scenery picture depicting a haven of peace dominated by green. After a 4.5 hours cruise on the river you will finally make disembarkation at Yangshuo where you can completely relieve stress and enjoy leisure time in Yangshuo.
Day08 Yangshuo (B, L)
This morning you will have a bicycle tour to discover the rustic landscapes of Yangshuo. The bike tour includes a family visit on your way to the upper reach of Yulong River. Afterwards you will take a bamboo rafting on the Yulong River. Many people regard this part of scenery along the bamboo rafting as "Paradise", the boat go through the peaceful river, the rice paddy fields, water buffalos and singing birds constitute a real world experience of "Alice in Wonderland".
Day09 Yangshuo - Guilin (B, L)
Enjoy the fresh air in Yangshuo before transferring back Guilin. It takes around 50 minutes to reach Guilin and on arrival Guilin you will visit two must-see attractions in the city. You will visit Reed Flute Cave. Comprising different kinds of natural rock formations, Reed Flute Cave (Lu Di Yan) is the most important and sight worthy cave of Guilin vicinity for its length of 240 meters and its many stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations in weird and wonderful shapes appealing to everyone's imagination. In addition, you will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, located at the confluence of the Li River and Peach Blossom River in the south central area of Guilin City. It looks like a huge elephant stretching its trunk and drinking water, hence the name. Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of Guilin and its limestone landscape.
Day10 Depart Guilin (B)
Free at your own leisure until check out and transferred to airport for departure. End of your China journey.
